Release list
NotchLand 1.1.0
A guided first-launch experience, plus a switch to a proper drag-to-Applications installer.
Highlights
- 🧭 New onboarding wizard — first launch now walks through a Welcome animation, a tour of the 5 core features, and step-by-step Calendar/Accessibility permission requests (both skippable) before landing on Get Started.
- 💿 Now distributed as a DMG — download, open, and drag NotchLand into Applications, instead of unzipping.
Installing
This build isn't notarized (no Apple Developer Program membership yet), so macOS Gatekeeper will flag it as being from an unidentified developer. After downloading:
- Open NotchLand-1.1.0.dmg and drag NotchLand.app into the Applications shortcut.
- Right-click (or Control-click) NotchLand.app in Applications → Open → confirm Open in the dialog. (Only needed once per version.)
- If that doesn't show a prompt, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway.
Requirements
- macOS 26.3 or later
- A MacBook with a display notch (recommended)
