Improve styling of tab bar buttons

Description

This issue is to improve the styling for the application's tab bar. Specifically what we want is:

• The animation of a tab bar button being pressed should be removed
  • I've checked a couple of apps including GitHub and Signal and there is no animation for a tab bar button being pressed
• The non-active color for the tab bar elements should be grey
  • As of now it's white for dark mode and black for light mode
