Are you a member of @decorrespondent in the Netherlands?

What, in your own words, makes it different from other news orgs?

There's been a lot of hype as they start up in the US. It would be interesting to hear about it from a member's perspective.

Thanks! ;-)

I’ve been a member from the start. I fullt support them to not cover the daily hype, to dig deeper and to find their own ways and formats. Not all themes are of equal interest to me but their deep research in dataprivacy, trackers and metadata is really interesting. I like it they look beyond the conventional journalism-formats and publish books, hold events etc.

Thanks @frankmeeuwsen -- that's exactly what I was looking for, what makes them different from a user's perspective.

Same feeling here - I like their choice of topics a lot and their careful research. They involve members a lot - they will tell what they want to research and involve members in finding examples, contacts, stories etc.
