Verification is in the form field. The CVS character set is even more restrictive - alphanumerics ONLY - so we don't have to validate that existing data.

Actually, CVS was restricted to non-capital alphanumerics. I think.

Makes sense: bad software has very bad restrictions

No need to merge in my upstream periodically unless there's actually a conflict that has to be resolved. Just generates merge noise.

This broke the build last night, three times - there was at least one user (svendecabooter) who requested a git username that violated unique key constraints.
