Setup Lite path (explicit): free plugins live in this marketplace README — if you want CLAUDE.md + allowlist + one skill wired to your repo as a PR (~24h), that’s Setup Lite $29.
Public price, public repos. Organic only. |

If you use Claude Code much, you've probably hit the thing where it says "done, all tests pass" and the tests never actually ran. Usually it isn't the model being dishonest. It's that nothing in the repo told it what "ran" means, so a command that errored out reads the same as a command that passed.
Two things fix most of it, and both are free.
1. Give the repo a CLAUDE.md with the four commands. Install, dev, test, lint. That's it. Most of the "it guessed the wrong command" failures are just this file missing.
2. Make the finish line a gate, not a sentence. That's what
kit-ship-checkin this marketplace does. It runs test, lint and typecheck, then prints a PASS/FAIL table. The part that matters: anything it couldn't run counts as FAIL, not as skipped. A green build that skipped the suite is the exact thing that fools you.To try it:
Four plugins in there, all plain text, MIT:
kit-ship-check- the gate abovekit-explain-diff- plain English read of your diff, risky lines flagged as file:linekit-new-feature- plan in 5 lines, wait for a yes, build in small steps, ship check at the endkit-storekit-check- six offline StoreKit/Xcode pre-flight checks if you ship iOSThere's also a starter repo at https://github.com/sdvsignal/kit-claude-code-starter if you'd rather copy a working CLAUDE.md than write one.
Genuinely interested in what the ship-check table should show that it doesn't. Right now it's test/lint/typecheck and that's probably not enough for everyone. What would you want on it?
If you'd rather not wire any of this yourself, there's paid setup at kit.sdvsignal.com, but the plugins and the starter are free and don't need it.
