Hello,
I would like to better understand the relationship between the Open Source and Enterprise editions of SeaweedFS.
We are planning to use SeaweedFS with more than 25 TB of storage. From what I understand, with the open-source edition I can use any amount of local disk space available, while the enterprise edition becomes a paid option starting at 25 TB.
Is my understanding correct that the open-source version has no technical limit on storage capacity (beyond hardware constraints), and that the 25 TB threshold only affects licensing for the Enterprise edition?
If in the future I decide to use the Enterprise edition only for part of my existing backups, how easy is the migration process from open-source to Enterprise for specific datasets?
Is it possible to:
Any guidance or best practices for this type of mixed or partial migration scenario would be very helpful. Thank you!
