createConfiguredMock() is not yet documented, that is what this ticket is about.

createConfiguredMock will create a mock object, mocking the configured methods. The configuration is an associated array [method_name => return_value, ...].

Example:

/** @var Mockable $mock */
$mock = $this->createConfiguredMock(
    Mockable::class,
    [
        'foo' => false
        'zoo' => 42
    ]
);

$this->assertFalse($mock->foo());
$this->assertSame(42, $mock->zoo());
$this->assertNull($mock->bar());
