Description
Viewer crashes when pressing the edit button on a script preview floater to edit externally, if the port is in use.
This primarily will affect users that run more than 1 copy of the viewer
But could also affect users that have that port in use by another process.
Suggest that when catching that port is in use, viewer pops up a notice saying something along the lines of.
Failed to open web socket port {port} already in use
Reproduction steps
- Use Project lua editor viewer
- Open instance of viewer
- Make sure websocket features is enabled in
preferences > advanced > script development - Make sure you have an external editor configured there too
- Check option in preferences > advanced > allow multiple viewers
- Open second instance
- Login to sl on both
- Create a prim, add a script, and open it on both
- Press
Edit...button to open externally on first viewer instance - Press
Edit...button to open externally on second viewer instance
