Seems like a bunch of warnings started showing up at some point since the last update to
mainon the project ~4 years ago. Fixes are quite straightforward. There are more fixes needed to support more recent Wasm (see #4 and #5) but this current PR should at least modernize the build a bit to keep things more readable while looking at those PRs.
