G14 2024, GA403UI - Only 80% I don't know if this works for all models, but I only get the "Fully smart charged" text and heart icon at the battery tray icon when I set a valid value of 80% when the battery is full. Perhaps this might help others to find their valid values more easily. |

Hi Seerge, TUF A15 FA506IHR - MyAsus only have two mode, are 80% and 100%. But when I tested with GHelper, this is the results: 40% - Continues to charge Hope this will help you in this project. Thanks! |
|
2023 TUF A15 FA507XI - Only 80% and 100% work. Thanks for your work! |

ROG Strix G18 G814JVR My old man Asus N550J does not support charge limitation, unfortunately |

TUF Gaming A15 FA507XI - AMD Ryzen 9 7940H(S) & RTX 4070 Laptop In MyAsus, there is only an option to enable or disable charge limits (80%). When using the limiter in MyAsus, a "Fully smart charged" message and a heart icon appear in the battery tray. However, when using G-Helper's charge limiter and setting the limit to any value other than 80%, this icon does not show up. Here are the results: 40%~50% - Continues to charge Thank you for your hard work on this project. It's greatly appreciated! |

TUF F15 506LH - i5 10300h & GTX1650 Hope this helps. |

ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506IHRB Ryzen 5 4600H & Nvidia GTX 1650 Laptop Using G-Helper, I can set the limit from 40% to 100% (the slider provides these values)
It seems like charging continues when the limit is lesser than 55% even though the charge is higher than the limit. However, a limit of 85% to 90% works. |

ROG Zephyrus M16 (2023) GU604VZ (Intel Core i9 13900H & Nvidia RTX 4080M) 50% - At 50% it charges then it stops at 50.3% and doesn't charge from there It seems that the Slider is working as intended and even shows the Windows battery tray with the message "smart battery health charging" icon, Hope this helps, and thank you for this project! |

I have just announced on r/AsusTuf about this. GJ seerge! I will do my part when i get home! |

I'm glad I'm finally able to help with something. I'm on Asus ROG Flow X13 2023 with AMD Ryzen 9 and RTX4070.
Cheers. Last edit: Guess I'm a happy customer, thanks for this AMAZING work. |

TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition (2023) [FA617NS] 80% - working with heart icon |
|
ROG Strix Scar 17 (2023) G733PZ 40% ok - stops at 39% |
|
Hi Serge. On my ROG Zephyrus G14 2023 GA402XZ (7940HS + RTX 4080) all limits are working✅ Decimal places are displayed, but up to 80% it always shows xx.0% and after 80% xx.1%. (e.g. ..., 78.0%, 79.0, 80.0%, 81.1%, 82.1%, 83.1%, ...) |

Just a suggestion for the way people can test whether it's "officially" supported (ie. the BIOS reports to Windows) vs. unofficially "works" but isn't technically supported - maybe ask users to specifically check for whether Smart Charging gets enabled in "System > Power & battery" settings. The settings page updates instantly when you change the charge limit, so users can just open it, and check each charge limit to see when it appears and when it doesn't. |
|
ROG FLOW Z13 (2022) (i7-12700H+3050) 60% ok - stops at 59.5% Is there a way to design it so that if the current battery level is 90% and the G-helper is set to limit it to 80%, it will switch to power supply directly without draining the battery down to 80%? |

Hi Seerge, new behaviour on GHelper disables me from selecting 55% charge (previously worked for me) |
|
Hi, please do not remove 40% option. It is working flawlessly on Asus Strix G16 (2023) model, G614JU, 328 BIOS. It is usefull because if laptop resets due to for ex. overclocking, it recharges above limit set , be it 40,60 or 80% until I enter Win after password input. It will go to 100% that way. |

Reporting on my ProArt P16 (HX 370 + RTX 4070): |

I am using latest update of G-Helper. I am using Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 (2022), Model - GA503RW. I cannot set the battery charge limit other than 60-80%. Is this an issue? or does this model doesn't support any other range? |
|
Rog Flow Z13 too. Only 60% and 80% are supported. |
|
First - I love this software!!! So much better in every way than Armoury Crate. Cudos to everyone who has contributed to building it (especially @seerge). My 2025 G14 clearly is limited between 60-80% (and 100%). Of course, I want 90%! I'm guessing this isn't something that is going to change any time soon, eh? |
|
Thank you very much for creating G-Helper! ROG Zephyrus G16 GU605CX-QR075W (2025) Charge Limits: @seerge it would be awesome if you could enable 55% for this notebook, since it is working and 60 % is currently the lowest value that I can set in G-Helper. Lower values aren't accepted by G-Helper and automatically reset to 60%. Thank you!

Hello fellow community,
It is known that some and especially new devices don't support any battery charge limits other than 80%. (As in MyASUS you simply can't set anything except 80% or 100%)
In G-Helper you can drag battery slider to any value obviously, but it doesn't mean your firmware / device will follow it if it doesn't support it in a first place.
I wanted to restrict slider values only to supported options to avoid confusion.
Can you write your model name, and list values that you know it supports. Easiest way to verify if value is supported is to
Yellow / Orangecharging LED should change color toWhite(or just turn off) when device stops charging.I'll start : G14 2022, GA402RK - Supports any limits :)
Thanks.
UPDATE
Version with removed unsupported limits is live
