on v2‐alpha performance contributions

performance contributions often have the unintended side effect to increase codebase size and reduce maintainability astronomically

on an alpha version we should not be thinking about making v2 faster, we should be thinking about making the architecture better and keeping the codebase organized and understandable

please do not submit performance PRs with very positive line diff counts
