flms is an easy way to track the movies you watch. There's no login, no social buttons, no useless movie information, no database. You just write down the movies in a text file, the way you prefer it (eg. you could call The Matrix just Matrix.)

Basic Usage

Just edit the movies.txt file, one movie per line. Optionally, You can rate the movies using our basic system: You like the movie, You really like the movie or You do not like the movie. You can even mark that You are re-watching the movie for a second time.

The syntax is as follows:

(optional rate) tab (is-review?) tab (name of the movie)

So, a basic movie listing would be:

+ tab tab Trainspotting

++ tab r tab Léon

tab tab Lord of the Rings

- tab tab Star Wars

By this list you can read that I find Trainspotting a fine movie, I've watched Léon The Professional more than once and it's a favorite of mine, that I don't care for The Lord of The Rings and Star WarzZz is boring.

Dropbox Configuration

  1. Download the ZIP;
  2. Unzip it;
  3. Put the whole folder on your Dropbox Public folder;
  4. Share the link for the index.html that's inside the folder;
  5. That's it!
