Merged paths (not “another open PR”)

Three configure-once paths are already merged upstream. Use these when you want UI/catalog discovery instead of only hand-rolled OpenAI-compatible fields.

1) DeepChat — first-class provider

• PR: feat(provider): add DaoXE ThinkInAIXYZ/deepchat#1948
• In the client settings, pick DaoXE, then paste your key + an exact model id from your account.

2) models.dev — catalog key daoxe

• PR: feat(daoxe): add DaoXE provider anomalyco/models.dev#3199
• Catalog: https://models.dev
• Live shape (account-scoped models still come from your DaoXE account):
  • api: https://daoxe.com/v1
  • env: DAOXE_API_KEY
• Useful for OpenCode / Kilo and other tools that read models.dev.

3) Dify Marketplace — model plugin

• PR: Add DaoXE model provider plugin v0.0.1 langgenius/dify-plugins#2708
• Or without the plugin: OpenAI-API-compatible credentials with Base URL https://daoxe.com/v1.

What DaoXE is

Multi-model multi-protocol gateway (OpenAI Chat Completions / Responses + Anthropic Messages and related paths). Model IDs are account-scoped — do not hardcode blog lists.

Smoke before agent loops

1. Create a key at https://daoxe.com
2. GET https://daoxe.com/v1/models with your key
3. Tiny completion / messages call with max_tokens=8
4. Then point Cline / Continue / Claude Code / desktop clients

Compliance / disclosure

• Related to DaoXE (we maintain these examples).
• Not available in mainland China.
• No reverse/bypass claims; no static price list promises; no RF/BY geo-target — CIS wording is for Russian-speaking developers / relocants as a language market.

Questions about a specific client (Cline, Claude Code base URL root vs /v1, etc.) — reply here with the client name + the exact error string.
