First public release of Carrot Notes — lightweight floating sticky notes for Linux with rich editing and optional sync.

Install (Linux)

Debian / Ubuntu:

sudo apt install ./carrotnotes_0.1.0_amd64.deb

AppImage: make executable and run:

chmod +x carrotnotes_0.1.0_amd64.AppImage
./carrotnotes_0.1.0_amd64.AppImage

Notes

• Best tested on Ubuntu / GNOME (Wayland)
• Always-on-top uses XWayland by default (no GNOME extension needed)
