Hey,

I had to disable Nova in Obsidian to correct a no type problem it was giving me. I REALLY like Nova so I want to know if theres a fix for this bug?
So when I am creating a new note in obsidian, I can enter a title with no issues, when I want to type in the body of the note, it simply will not let me. Even when I click on other notes I have previously created, same issue. I disabled NOVA and now everything works fine as normal, so I Know it is NOVA.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi - glad you like Nova. The writing analysis feature did have some issues with freezing (usually with large documents), but I have shipped a number of fixes for those. I cannot duplicate the issue when creating a new note as you outlined above.

Can you confirm you are running the latest version? Does the issue go away if you turn off Writing analysis in the settings?

I tried again. I disabled the writing analysis feature, and was able to type maybe a sentence before it stopped letting me type text into the body. I went back to settings and disabled NOVA and everything went back to normal and was able to type. It says I am using version 1.5.5.

1.5.5 is the latest. I don't have any other reports of issues right now, so I don't think this is a widespread issue, and I cannot reproduce the error the way you said.

I'll try to help you, but I need more information as I cannot reproduce it in my main vault or in my test vault.

• What OS is this on?
• Have you tried quitting and restarting Obsidian?
• Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Nova?
