🚀 Super Simple Installation (No Building Required!)

For End Users (Super Easy!)

1. Download this repository (click "Code" → "Download ZIP")
2. Extract the ZIP file to any folder
3. Right-click INSTALL.bat → "Run as administrator"
4. Done! Ghost Scanner is now installed!

The installer will:

• ✅ Install Ghost Scanner to C:\Program Files\GhostScanner\
• ✅ Create a desktop shortcut
• ✅ Create a Start Menu shortcut
• ✅ Offer to launch the app immediately

First Time Setup

1. Launch Ghost Scanner (desktop shortcut or Start Menu)
2. Right-click the system tray icon (👻) → "Configure"
3. Enter your API key:
   • OpenRouter: https://openrouter.ai (Recommended - easier to get)
   • OpenAI: https://platform.openai.com
4. Choose your model (e.g., openai/gpt-4o-mini)
5. Click "Save"
6. Click "Start Monitoring" in the main window

That's it! Ghost is now helping you! 👻

📖 How to Use

• Start Monitoring: Click "Start Monitoring" button (or right-click tray icon)
• Ask Ghost: Click "Ask Ghost" to ask questions about your screen
• Configure: Right-click system tray icon → "Configure"
• Exit: Right-click system tray icon → "Exit"

🎯 How It Works

1. Ghost captures screenshots of your screen
2. Sends them to an AI model with context
3. Analyzes what you're doing and provides helpful suggestions
4. Can answer questions about what's visible on your screen

🔒 Privacy

• Screen captures are processed locally
• Sent only to your configured AI provider
• No data stored permanently
• You control when monitoring is active

🛠️ Requirements

• Windows 10/11
• Internet connection (for AI API access)
• API key from OpenRouter or OpenAI

No Visual Studio needed! The app comes pre-built and ready to use.
