I have already submitted this as a pull request upstream.
This needs to be merged into our fork and then a new release-0.5.3.3 tag needs to be created, and then the yaml-cpp build framework will need to be updated to pull this new tag instead of "release-0.5.3".
This resolves upstream issue jbeder#432 where MSVC_STATIC_RT was not handled properly.
