Highlights

• Working and Thinking now use a bounded model-adaptive shimmer, while
  visible assistant text serves as the liveness signal during streaming.
• Reasoning-to-tool handoff preserves the historical transcript cache, keeping
  animation and composer input responsive in long sessions.
• Provider/WebSocket recovery, cancellation cleanup, and token accounting are
  more reliable.
• Added ygg doctor and opt-in local telemetry for configuration, timing,
  retries, usage, tool activity, compaction, and run outcomes.
• Normal provider completions with no visible text, media, or tool call now fail
  clearly instead of silently succeeding.

Benchmark

The frozen v0.6.2 Terminal-Bench 2.1 campaign with GPT-5.6 Sol at maximum
reasoning scored 87.87% raw (391/445) across 89 tasks × 5 trials. A separate
local rubric/manual review scored 86.97% (387/445); it was not official
Terminal-Bench maintainer adjudication. The paid campaign was not rerun for
v0.6.3.

Compatibility

• Core crates and first-party packages target Ygg 0.6.3.
• Executable extension bundles use API 0.2 and require exact Ygg 0.6.3.
• Prebuilt binaries support GNU/Linux x86-64, macOS x86-64, and macOS Apple
  silicon.
• Existing local configuration, credentials, sessions, and Serve data remain in
  place across installer upgrades.
