Fixed

  • Updating on Windows no longer fails partway through. If you used WhatsApp (or Telegram), its background bot kept running after you clicked Restart, holding the app open so the installer failed and you had to uninstall and reinstall by hand. Skales now shuts those background processes down before the installer runs (and on every normal quit), so updating just works. Affects updates going forward from this version.

  • Documents and the to-do list no longer pop open when you revisit a chat. Reopening a finished chat from history flung the in-chat document editor and the plan checklist wide open every time. They now stay collapsed when you reopen a session, and only open or expand for a live update while you are actually working in the chat.

Added

  • Stop re-approving every edit. When Skales asks to approve a batch of file edits, the prompt now offers "Approve + allow edits this session". One click and it stops asking for file edits (write, edit, delete, move, copy) for the rest of that chat, so a folder-bound coding session flows without a prompt on every change. Deliberately scoped: shell commands, git push and deploy still ask every time, and it only ever applies to the one chat session.

  • Every notification has a home. Proactive updates - a finished task, a scheduled run's result, a reminder, a Friend Mode check-in - used to go only to the desktop buddy bubble or Telegram. Now every one is recorded to your Notifications page (with the unread dot on the Bell), pops a toast the moment it happens, and plays a sound. Important ones (a completed task) stay on screen until you dismiss them instead of fading after a few seconds.
