Backbone is about one thing: long tasks finish now. The agent keeps its plan, never repeats itself, and remembers what matters - whatever model you run, local or cloud.

🦾 The agent loop got a backbone

  • Long, multi-step tasks used to fall apart: plans recreated from scratch, the same actions repeated, budgets burned without a result. Skales now keeps the agent on track itself, step by step - it knows its plan, what it already did and what comes next. Big tasks finish noticeably more often, in fewer steps, with frontier models AND small local ones.
  • Pausing and continuing works the way you expect: the Continue card appears live in the chat (no reload), and continuing picks up the existing checklist exactly where it stopped instead of starting over.
  • Multi-step work in plain chat just runs - including remotely, where you cannot pick folders. The agent gets straight to building instead of searching for a place to work.

🧠 Compression stops eating your conversation

  • In long conversations, recent messages and the agent's own checklist could effectively get lost, and a long-running task could even lose track of the original request. All three are fixed: the latest messages always survive, the checklist stays, the original request stays the task. You will feel this most in long sessions and on smaller models.

🌙 Dreaming runs on its own now

  • The nightly memory consolidation could silently skip a day - and then every day. It runs reliably on its schedule now, retries on its own when something gets in the way, and a failed run is visible in the dream diary instead of vanishing.

💚 Friend Mode reaches people who actually work

  • If you work at your computer all day, proactive check-ins simply never came. Now they arrive on your phone on schedule (WhatsApp, Telegram or email) while you work. Check-ins are generated in your language and style, as always.

📱 WhatsApp stays linked across updates

  • The QR code had to be scanned again after every update - fixed. One last scan after installing this version, then never again.

🔔 Your notifications, your rules

  • The Notifications page has a settings panel now: mute all live notifications with one switch (everything still lands on the page, critical items always come through) and per-type checkboxes for all twelve kinds. Notification titles follow your app language in all 12 languages.

🌍 Discover and stats

  • Discover captures more events and tools than before, Wrapped gets three new categories (Voice, Messaging, AIPointer), and mislabeled activities are attributed correctly. Approving a suggestion works reliably now, including from another device.
