v0.6.0 — Story Studio improvements, data backup, Open File in Inspector

⚠️ Important: Data Migration Warning

This release includes schema changes for Story Studio. Existing Story Studio projects will be wiped when upgrading. Config presets and saved workflows are now auto-backed up to JSON and will be restored automatically — but Story Studio project data is not yet covered by the backup. Apologies for the disruption.

What's New

Story Studio

• Per-variant approval — Approve/unapprove individual variants (not the whole scene); checkmark badge on approved thumbnails; approve from detail panel or right-click context menu; only one approved variant per scene
• Variant prompt display — The prompt used to generate each variant now shows below the preview image when selected
• Stronger selection highlight — Selected variant thumbnails have a 3pt accent border + tint overlay, much easier to see
• Add to Story Studio from Generate Image — "Add to Story Studio…" button in the image detail panel
• Add to Story Studio from Image Inspector — Replaces the old "Send to StoryFlow" button
• New Project button in navigator — Create a new project without closing the current one (+ button in navigator header)

Image Inspector

• Open File… button in the empty drop zone — no more drag-and-drop only

LLM / Prompt Enhancement

• Configurable Max Tokens — New setting in Settings → LLM Provider (default: 2048). Raise this if LM Studio or Jan truncates long enhanced prompts
• Better timeout error — Now explains how to adjust Max Tokens when enhancement times out

Data & Backup

• Auto-backup — Config presets, saved workflows, and pipelines are automatically written to JSON in Application Support on every launch
• Auto-restore — After a schema wipe, backed-up records are restored automatically on next launch
• Settings → Data & Backup — Manual "Restore from Backup" button and "Show Backup Folder"

Describe Image

• "Send to" destination renamed from "Workflow Builder" to "Story Studio" throughout

Schema

• Story Studio per-variant approval adds isApproved to SceneVariant — requires store wipe on this upgrade
• Future additive changes will no longer wipe the store

Bug Fixes

• Story Studio images no longer appear in the Generate Image gallery (saved to separate folder)
• Lightbox appear/dismiss animation fixed
• DT Browser image export now applies correct scale factor (0 treated as 1×)
• "Send to Generate Image" from DT Browser and Image Browser now correctly populates steps/guidance/shift fields
