What's the problem this feature will solve?
Retrieving Data for waveform PVs with string representations.
Describe the solution you'd like
A check box on the "Data Insight Tool" that displays the "Value" column as a string rather than a wave form. Probably best to only do this for waveform PVs and other applicable PVs
Additional context
Wave forms appear to be ascii
You can use the TPG:SYS0:1:MANUAL_PATH PV on prod. The waveform either starts with "verified/" or "test/"
