[BUG] - even after deactivating PVs, still see data

Describe the bug

I turned off all but one of the PVs, but still saw more than one line

Expected behavior

only draw data for PVs that are "on"

Steps to Reproduce

I searched for WATR:*:TANK_LV, chose 6 in the middle, plotted, turned off all but one and still saw many lines

no machine -> physics@lcls-srv01 -> typed trace at prompt

Even after deleting the rows, the traces persist. Notice that the new data is showing up over the gear icon in the upper left of the plot.
