Libdarnit comes with the following headers, all under the directory "darnit" in the include path. Links to the page covering the API-calls in every header will be made as those pages are created.

  • darnit.h (This is the one you want to include, it includes all the other headers)
  • darnit_bbox.h (bounding boxes)
  • darnit_dynlib.h (for loading dynamically linked libraries)
  • darnit_filesystem.h (Cross-platform file I/O wrappers)
  • darnit_input.h (keyboard/mouse/joystick input)
  • darnit_main.h (init, platform and other assorted core features
  • darnit_map.h (For loading and handling maps)
  • darnit_menutk.h (Menu widgets)
  • darnit_mtsprite.h (Sprites with multiple tiles)
  • darnit_render.h (Most functions that has anything to do with rendering)
  • darnit_socket.h (Socket wrappers)
  • darnit_sound.h (Sound loading/playback)
  • darnit_sprite.h (Single-tile few-frame sprites with selectable "direction")
  • darnit_stringtable.h (String database API)
  • darnit_text.h (Text rendering)
  • darnit_tilemap.h (Tilemap rendering)
  • darnit_utf8.h (UTF8/Unicode helper functions)
  • darnit_util.h (Assorted utility functions without their own header)
