The public README should read like a clean Codex CLI alpha project page, not a carry-over from the original upstream project.
Scope:
- make the root README significantly clearer and more polished
- center all setup and behavior around Codex CLI
- document current alpha status, requirements, configuration, commands, architecture, and limitations
- align the package README with the same Codex CLI terminology
Acceptance:
- no OpenClaw or WebClaw wording remains in public README surfaces
- setup instructions are accurate for the current public alpha
- README is cleaner and easier to scan
