This folder documents the incremental implementation of SleepWell, an uptime monitoring SaaS. Each file records a discrete build step: what was created or changed, which files were touched, and any decisions made along the way.
| # | File | What Was Done |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | 01-monitors-module.md | NestJS backend monitors module — entities, services, processor, controller, migrations, email templates, and cron scheduling |
| 02 | 02-monitors-frontend.md | Admin-portal UI — CRUD page, form modal, logs modal, and nav integration |
| 03 | 03-monitors-status-page.md | Public status page — backend timeline service, public API endpoint, and frontend dashboard with 30-day uptime bars |
| 04 | 04-feature-gates.md | Subscription plan feature gates — backend API guards (max projects, max monitors, check interval, data retention cron) and frontend UX gates with upgrade prompts |
| 05 | 05-website-copy-rewrite.md | Marketing website copy rewrite — replaced generic template copy with SleepWell-specific messaging and the Midnight Calm colour palette |
SleepWell was built on top of LaunchFrame — a full-stack SaaS starter that provides the foundational scaffolding (NestJS backend, Next.js marketing site, React admin portal, customer status page, Docker Compose infrastructure, auth, billing, queues, and more) so you can skip the boilerplate and focus on your product.
The steps documented here represent only the product-specific work built on top of LaunchFrame. The underlying platform — authentication, multi-tenancy, billing, email infrastructure, deployment pipeline — came ready-made.
