for some reason i use ccusage and when i use the happy web or mobile the tokens skyrocket

We just calling SDK as is, i am pretty sure it should be using caching, but for each iteration we effectively start a new "session" for technical reasons so there might be a problem in calculations in ccusage for this case. Doesnt affect much for workflow, but might be tricky for ccusage to implement.

i checked ccusage for one reason im on my x20 plan and after using happy it was the only 2 times ive hit limit after i show ccusage and i was too confused cause with same usage every day throughout the terminal ive never hit the limits with opus 4.1 all day if you want to investigate a bit further im happy to help and apply whats needed
