UPDATE 3rd April 2026 : FIX AGAINST CRASHES ON SOME DEVICES INCLUDED

Overview

Version 2.0.3 introduces a new My Wave TV area, a dedicated recording management screen, broader custom group sharing, better favorites/history browsing across playlists, new theme and selector customization, and a new Content Management section for storage analysis and cleanup.

Themes & Visual Customization

Version 2.0.3 adds new customization options for the app appearance.

You can now choose:

  • A specific theme
  • A specific selector style / color

The new default theme is now Wave, while the previous/classic style remains available for users who prefer the old appearance.

These options are available in:

Settings > Preferences

Custom Groups Across All Playlists

Custom groups are now more flexible than before.

You can now:

  • Create custom groups that are available across all playlists
  • Edit shared custom groups more easily
  • Reuse your own organization structure instead of rebuilding it playlist by playlist

This makes custom grouping much more practical for users working with multiple playlists.

Favorites & History Across All Playlists

Favorites and history are no longer limited to the currently active playlist.

Version 2.0.3 now allows you to browse:

  • Favorites from all playlists
  • History from all playlists

This gives a much more complete view of your usage, especially for users who split content across several playlist sources.

New Filter System for Favorites & History

Favorites and history have also been redesigned to be easier to browse.

Instead of relying only on the old behavior, they now use a new filter system with:

  • Dedicated tabs above the grid
  • Cleaner and faster navigation between content types
  • A more readable browsing experience overall

New Content Management Section

A new section called Content Management has been added here:

Settings > Playlists & Update

This section is designed to provide better visibility and safer cleanup tools for stored content.

It allows you to:

  • Analyze the storage used by each type of content
  • Decide to keep only specific content types from a playlist
  • Clear cached data
  • Perform content-related cleanup actions more easily

The goal is to make it much clearer what is stored locally and to give users more control over storage usage.

Secondary EPG Import via QR Code

Secondary EPG sources can now also be imported via QR code.

This makes the setup process easier, especially on TV devices where entering long links manually is inconvenient.

Better Actors Screen Layout

The actor-related content screen has been improved.

Results are now displayed in two separate horizontal rows:

  • Movies
  • Series

This is more consistent with the overall browsing experience and closer to the way content is already presented in Global Search.

New EPG Contextual Actions

The EPG is now more powerful and more interactive.

By long pressing a program from a channel, you can open a contextual menu and directly perform actions such as:

  • Reorder a channel
  • Hide a channel
  • Rename a channel
  • Schedule a recording directly from the same menu

This reduces friction and makes channel management much more accessible during normal guide usage.

My Wave TV

A new My Wave TV section has been introduced.

This area is separate from the movie/series side, which now behaves more like My Wave VOD.

My Wave TV centralizes TV-related activity such as:

  • Favorites
  • History
  • Reminders
  • Scheduled recordings
  • Ongoing recordings
  • Completed recordings

This makes the TV side of the app much more coherent and useful on a daily basis.

Dedicated Recording Screen

Version 2.0.3 introduces a brand new screen dedicated to recording management.

It allows more advanced recording configuration, including:

  • Channel selection
  • Start time
  • End time
  • Margins
  • Program title
  • Other recording-related parameters

By default, recordings are stored in the device’s public Downloads folder.

Changing the local destination folder is not supported on many Android 11+ devices due to Google restrictions around sensitive storage access unless a very specific approved use case exists.

However, users can configure an SMB server (for example a shared folder on a PC), which works very well for recordings.

Manual Watched / Unwatched Status

Movies and series can now be manually marked or unmarked as watched.

This can be done through the contextual menu in movie/series screens by long pressing a poster.

This gives users more manual control when automatic watched state detection is not sufficient.

Projectivy Launcher Integration for VOD

Version 2.0.3 adds Projectivy launcher channel integration for VOD.

You can now access content such as:

  • Favorite items
  • Resume movie
  • Resume episode

directly from the launcher.

This improves access speed and makes the app feel more integrated with supported launcher environments.

Dynamic Language Change

Changing the app language no longer requires a restart.

The selected language is now applied dynamically, making the experience smoother for multilingual users and easier for testing.

Prefix / Suffix Bulk Tools

Prefix and suffix management has been significantly expanded.

You can now:

  • Add text in bulk
  • Remove text in bulk
  • Replace text in bulk

You can also:

  • Preview the impact before applying changes
  • Use an intelligent cleanup tool that analyzes group/channel names and suggests possible automatic cleanup actions

These tools are available in:

Settings > Group Management
or
Settings > TV Channel Management

Then open the tab:

Prefixes / Suffixes

  • Fix for a major crash affecting some devices when switching screens
