Question: Resizing windows/columns

My apologies if I have missed something in the documentation/code but is there a way to resize windows/columns in ad?

My workflow idea is to have a narrow window as a kind of scratch area to keep commands that I might use quite frequently. For example, issuing quarto render filename.qmd to process a quarto document (https://quarto.org/)

I could see how this could be linked in some way to #26 but it would be useful to be able to resize anyway if the text displayed was wider/narrower etc

Currently there isn't no, which is unfortunate. I was waiting until I'd handled #26 so that you could do acme style column dragging with the mouse but I should really add support for doing it via the keyboard first...

So on that front, thank you for poking me on this! I'll see if I can find some time to take a look at adding it once I've wrapped up the slightly mad ninep stuff I'm working on at the moment.

@davcam Resizing via commands (which can be bound to keys) is now possible following the PR that was merged above. I'll leave this open until I've also implemented resizing via the mouse which, now that I'm not doing tags, I think is going to follow the vim / tmux model of letting you drag the divider between windows.

Might it be possible to have a word wrap option in ad? This would pair very nicely with resizing a window. If you would consider this then I'd be happy to create an issue?

I'll be honest, I really dislike line wrapping in text editors 😅 I'm aware that it is a widely used feature in a number of other editors and IDEs but its not something I want to add to ad I'm afraid. It's not at all how I like to think about the contents of the file, plus line wrapping would complicate a fair amount of the logic for how the UI is generated from the pure buffer state.

Eventually once I sort out the correct semantics for the UserInterface trait (including moving over the logic for how mouse clicks are mapped into buffer dots) then in theory it would be possible to write a UI implementation that supported line wrapping, but that's not going to be possible any time soon I suspect.
