Can't transfer file 5GB+ to object storage using filezilla and swftp

Hello,
I'm a first time user for swftp and having problem uploading 5GB+ file to SoftLayer object storage using filezilla. I understand that object storage has file limitation of 5GB. Does this mean I have to cut the file to smaller chunk before using filezilla to upload?

You must use segments upload for large files (see http://docs.openstack.org/developer/swift/overview_large_objects.html) or cut the file. SwFTP can't do it for you :(
