Did it in hard way by removing flash and wrinig solar2mqtt right to flash chip. Just after noticed something interesting :D

And how did you get around the cyclical voltage drop of 3.3V?
I unsoldered the output leg of the AIP555 chip and applied 5V there.

GPIO13 is sending around 1Hz pulses to Q1 base and this way C6 is discharged. If you want to bypass watchdog you must shortcut C6 (near to 555 chip) or collector-emiter Q1.

that 555 3rd leg is cinnected to 3.3v dc dc converter enable pin. esp outputs pulse to 555 chip to "reset" so 555 doesnt toggle its 3rd pin. in other words its just hardware watchdog.. you can simply lift that third pin and it will be fine.

Do you know what signal and from which leg of the ESP chip is sent to the 555 chip? With an oscilloscope, I saw only a cyclic voltage smoothly increasing to 0.5V on the leg of the 555 chip called "Trigger". I did not find a similar signal from the ESP chip. By the way, it is not at all necessary to switch the wires from the TTL output of the chip to the input of the ESP chip 12.13, as you did. You can change the firmware in 1 minute and everything will work as it was soldered at the factory in the WiFi Plug Pro. At the same time, you can change another error of the author in the firmware and everything will work much more stably. If you are interested, I will write.

Thanks for your work! Soldered to the pins on the board itself (3,3, RX, TX, GND), connected to USB - UART. Transition to BOOT - shorting DL to GND. Flashed like this: py -m esptool --port COM10 --baud 460800 write-flash --flash_size detect 0x0 D:\solar.bin. Cyclicity was resolved by shorting C6. The device works!
