This license governs the `taskpilot` plugin (the "Plugin") published by
NOV LLC at `https://github.com/softwaresoftware-dev/taskpilot`, and all
source code, documentation, configuration, skills, rules, hooks, and any
other files distributed within the Plugin's repository (collectively, the
"Software").

The Software is the proprietary property of NOV LLC, a Colorado
limited-liability company, and its owner Thatcher Thornberry. All rights not
expressly granted below are reserved.

## 1. Permitted Use

Subject to the restrictions in Section 2, you are permitted to:

  a. Clone, download, or otherwise access this repository for personal,
     non-commercial evaluation and use.

  b. Install and run the Plugin inside Claude Code for your own personal use
     (e.g. via `claude plugin install taskpilot@softwaresoftware-plugins`
     or `/softwaresoftware:install taskpilot`).

  c. Read the source for the purpose of understanding how the Plugin
     interacts with your environment.

## 2. Prohibited Use

Except with prior written permission from NOV LLC, you may NOT:

  a. Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the Software.

  b. Redistribute, republish, mirror, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or
     otherwise transfer the Software, in whole or in part, to any third party.

  c. Fork or reproduce this repository for the purpose of publishing a
     competing plugin, product, or service based on the Software.

  d. Use the Software for any commercial purpose, including but not limited
     to: incorporating it into a product or service for which any fee is
     charged; using it to generate revenue, directly or indirectly; or
     integrating it into business operations intended to produce profit.

  e. Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, trademark, attribution,
     or other proprietary marking.

  f. Use the name "softwaresoftware", "NOV LLC", "taskpilot", or any
     associated mark, to endorse, promote, or imply association with
     derivative or third-party works.

## 3. Commercial Licensing

Any commercial use of the Software requires a separate paid license agreement
with NOV LLC. To negotiate commercial terms, contact the owner in writing.

## 4. Third-Party Components

The Plugin may depend on, reference, or invoke software or services owned by
independent third parties. Those components remain licensed by their
respective owners under their own terms. Nothing in this license grants
rights to, or imposes restrictions on, such third-party works.

## 5. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL NOV
LLC OR ITS OWNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY,
WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF,
OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE.

## 6. Termination

Any use of the Software in violation of this license automatically and
immediately terminates the rights granted in Section 1. Upon termination, you
must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession.

## 7. Governing Law

This license is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States,
without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under
this license shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in
Colorado.
