Farsight not working as intended

Im playing on 1.18.2 with farsight but it does not seem to be working. My render distance is 16 chunks and it wont show any further. Not sure what to do.

Hello, I am running the MC Eternal 2 modpack on MC 1.20.1 (forge 47.4.2) and am having the same issue. Even updated to latest version (pack uses as version or two previous) and nothing seems to enable seeing more than server default 16 chunk view distance. Checked the config file in case something needed to be jiggered there, but doesn't seem so... thanks for any help/guidance you can provide!

@erik880 i figured out what was the problem on my end. If you are using the "Dynamic View Distance" (Dynview) mod in whatever pack you are using, the combo will help Dynview but not Faright. i disabled Dynview in the MC Eternal pack and Farsight works as intended. Apparently Dynview uses Farsight to address chunk loading issues to make that mod work properly, but the side effect seems to be that it negates Farsights actual intended effect, if that makes sense.
