Thanks for the suggestion. I looked into both the Home Assistant alexa_media_player integration and the Music Assistant Alexa provider. There’s no proper “play URL” API for Alexa, so you end up with skill/voice/proxy workarounds. I don't think it is worth the development effort to then end up with a fragile solution that can break at any time if amazon locks down its api. I am considering re‑adding Music Assistant players as outputs. If that happens you could use Alexa via Music Assistant, but the fragility and maintenance risk would sit on the MA/Amazon side, not on the audioserver. |

Is it possible to implement an Alexa Echo as an audio zone in Loxone?
As I understand it, it should work if you create the Alexa Media Player in HomeAssistant, right?
Does the audio server plugin find a Dot as a zone?
