The first public release of TaffyQSL! 🍬
TaffyQSL is a free, open-source amateur radio logbook for Android, designed for operators who want to manage QSOs and sign logs for Logbook of the World (LoTW) directly on their phone without relying on a desktop computer.
It provides a mobile workflow compatible with TrustedQSL while keeping all keys securely stored on the device.
What's included
- ADIF logbook management — create, import, edit, and export ADIF files
- QSO signing — sign logs using a workflow compatible with TrustedQSL
- LoTW integration — direct upload of signed logs and filtered QSO queries
- Quick Add — natural-language QSO parser for fast logging, automatically parsing callsign, satellite, frequency/band, mode, date and time. (e.g.
BG4KNN 14074 FT8 03-02 14:30) - Station & certificate management — DXCC entity, grid square, state/province, IOTA, zones
- Satellite support — full satellite list and quick selection of common FM satellites with automatic frequency fill
- Hardware-backed key protection — private keys stored in the Android Keystore with encrypted backups on the device
- No telemetry, no tracking — fully local-first
- Three languages (Android 13+) — English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese
