Welcome to Pocket-Reviewes, review on the go!

First

To get going you first need to decide how to host the backend service

  1. Use the free available service at Google App Engine (GAE) TBD. Please note that this instance will only provide services as long as the cost in below the daily budget set by the authors.

  2. Deploy your own GAE instance of the ready-made backend without one single line of code. This will give you full control over who can access the service and also the budget and cost. More information can be fund here TBD

  3. Integrate with an existing GAE service and enjoy the convenience of only having to manager one running instance. Knowledge of GAE and Spring will necessary. More information can be found here TBD

Second

Now that you have your backend service up and running the next step is create an app in the backoffice interface

  1. Open a web browser and enter the backoffice url to your instance of the service

  2. You need to login using a valid Google account (do not worry, it is OAuth2 and we can not access your user details even if we wanted to).

  3. You now have a valid account and can start creating your own apps

  4. Create an app but selecting a unique domain name

  5. The backoffice will now create the app for you and generate a unique appId and appKey that you will need when connecting from you application together with the domain name.

And finally

Download one of the SDKs matching your platform. If an SDK is not available for your platforms you are free to implement the REST interface your self.

Good luck!
