I am requesting API access for my web application to integrate SoundCloud artist search and profile linking.

Description:
DJ Rank is a tier-based ranking application for electronic music artists. Users can discover, rank, and share their favorite DJs across various tiers (S, A, B, C, D, E, F) based on custom criteria.

Use Case:
The SoundCloud API will be used to:

• Search for DJ/artist profiles when users add new artists to their rankings
• Display artist avatars and profile information
• Provide direct links to artist SoundCloud profiles for music discovery
• Enhance the user experience by offering multiple platform options (alongside Spotify integration)

Technical Details:

• Read-only access to public artist/user data
• No user authentication required
• Client-side API calls for artist search
• Non-commercial, personal ranking platform

Expected API Usage:

• Moderate traffic (~100-500 search requests per day)
• Primarily artist/user search endpoint
• Public data access only

I will comply with all SoundCloud API Terms of Service and attribute all content appropriately.
