Correct, I'm on Windows and it's not in the list.
And, yes, the official beta is available. The announcement email said it would be published pretty soon. Sorry, I forgot that detail. It is so good that I was under impression that I've been using it for years. :D

Edit: Right, the web site still says "coming soon" for the windows version.

What's the executable file name of Zed on Windows?

But now I'm suspecting this is because I've had unofficial Zed Nightly installed and then just installed Zed (beta) over it. I'm not sure what the path would be when installed clean. Will check on another workstation in the afternoon.
The executable name is still Zed.exe, though.

P.S. I see that the executable file for Zed is zeditor on Linux and zed on macOS

I think it should certainly work for my current case. If I get the download link again (deleted the original email but the download link that I kept does not work) on the forums, I will install clean and will let you know the path. Apparently the "beta" is the nightly version and it works well for Windows.

Ah, I see the Windows builds are now available in the pre-release versions

The default path that it offers (this latest pre-release build) is

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Programs\Zed Preview

And I can see that if add zed to PATH checkbox is checked when installing Zed, the C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Programs\Zed Preview\bin will be added to PATH, which means we may want to find zed.exe from PATH instead of Zed.exe

In the Discord Zed Windows channel, there is also a "beta" link. Not sure which version is this but will check it out now: https://zed.dev/api/releases/nightly/latest/zed_editor_installer_x86_64.exe
This should be the version I had before. The color of the icon has some meaning.
