Customized dArkOS firmware for G80CA-MB V1.2 R36S clones Bringing the pure dArkOS experience to your RK3326-based handheld. Perfect for retro emulation on G80CA hardware with tweaks for seamless performance, controls, and battery management.

🚀 Quick Overview

• Base: Modified aArkOS RG351MP firmware with dArkOS hardware layer compatibility.
• Target: G80CA-MB V1.2 clones (R36S-style devices with Panel 8 or 9 screens).
• Key Enhancements:
  • Function button integration.
  • Support for Hotkey Volume, Brightness and Gamma controls.
  • Native joystick mapping (RG351MP layout).
  • Full Wi-Fi support (rtl8192cu, rtl8821cu, rtl8812au, mt7601u).
  • Audio (speakers + headphones).
  • Optimised battery charging (800mAh) and shutdown voltages.

🔋 LED Behavior

The device's LED is fully managed by dArkOS Battery LED services.

Color	Status
Blue	Normal operation (battery ≥20%)
Violet & Red (blinking)	Low battery warning (<20%, or critically low voltage)
Pink & Blue (blinking)	Charging (plugged in)

📥 Installation & Updates

• Fresh Install: Firmware Installation Guide
  • Supports Panel 8 (standard DTB) & Panel 9 (DTB swap required).
  • Use Balena Etcher; verify SHA1 hash; first boot expands partitions.
• Upgrade (Preserve ROMs): Firmware Upgrade Guide
  • Dual-SD setup recommended (OS on right slot, ROMs on left EASYROMS).

⚠️ Known Limitations & Issues

• Panel 9: not currently supported, if you have a Panel 9 device and want to be involved, raise an issue.
• USB Tethering

🛠️ Troubleshooting

Common fixes at your fingertips:

Issue	Solution
Black Screen	Hold power button 10s, release, press 2s to reboot.
Fuzzy lines / Wrong display	Power off, remove battery 10min, reflash with correct DTB (Panel 8/9).
Grey overlays/shaders	WIP guide coming—disable via config edits (inspired by upstream dArkOS).
Stuck on logo	Verify image hash, reflash, try new SD card (SanDisk/Kingston recommended).
