Some quick notes about ForesightJS:

• Very small footprint. Size is version specific, so check Bundlephobia for the exact numbers for the version you plan to use. Also the devtools are a dev dependency so they wont be shipped to prod.
• Only two runtime dependencies: tabbable for keyboard/tab-order detection and PositionObserver for async position/visibility tracking. Both are small, well scoped libraries.
• Performance-first design. We avoid layout thrashing by relying on observers instead of polling or repeated synchronous layout reads (we dont call getBoundingClientRect() anymore after the first register). MutationObserver and the PositionObserver handle most checks asynchronously so we do not force reflows on user input. Also we try to cache whenever possible, for example the tabbable data. We also use RequestAnimationFrame for batching calculations. Next to this there are a bunch more smaller performance wins.
