iOS porting #1039

This is something which I have considered before. I'd like to start by asking, have you considered https://netnewswire.com/ ? It is my impression that this is the best alternative in Apple land. Personally, I do not think it makes sense. It would not be possible to share most of the code so it would be a completely standalone app. And in that case, what about it makes it "Feeder for iOS"? Also I do not own the required Apple hardware to be of any help here, nor do I have any inclination to pay the yearly App Store fee (Google Play store is a one-time fee). There is also the fact that the App Store terms of service are explicitly incompatible with the GPL license. See for example https://www.fsf.org/blogs/licensing/more-about-the-app-store-gpl-enforcement |

Hi there, first of all I would like to thank you for this wonderful app. As I can't get an equivalent app on iOS, I was wondering if porting this app to iOS would be of interest. I could help with he development, but before forking anything I just wanted to ask for your opinion and permission. Does make sense doing it for iOS too?
Thanks again for this app 👏
