Interesting. I guess I haven't tried building it with flang yet (too many other failures with my library stack before I get to it!)

Ooh. Just realized this is flang 18 or older. Yeah, we can't get flang 21 to build our code, so flang 18 is like gcc 3. It exists, but museum level compiler for us. :)
