Summary

Comprehensive copy refresh across the homepage, About page, Create/Verify pages, metadata, and SEO to make OpenProof immediately understandable to first-time visitors and more discoverable through search.

Changes

  • Homepage: Added 4 new sections — Who uses OpenProof (developers, creators, researchers, legal, journalists, businesses, archivists, individuals), When to timestamp a file (4 real-world scenarios), What a proof means (proves vs doesn't prove side-by-side), Privacy by design (no uploads, no accounts, permanent verification, no tracking)
  • About page: Added Who uses OpenProof and When to use it sections with numbered scenarios
  • Layout/SEO: Enriched title with key terms (Proof-of-Existence · File Fingerprinting · Blockchain Timestamping), expanded description and keywords, updated OG/Twitter cards
  • Create page: Added 'Prove a file existed at this moment' to header, 'Only the hash is written onchain' to footer note
  • Verify page: Clarified description mentioning onchain registry check and proving a file is unchanged
  • FileDrop: Improved helper text explaining SHA-256 privacy
  • eslint: Added android/ to global ignores (auto-generated Capacitor build artifacts)
