Global Population File Null Values

A large portion of highly populated grid cells in Asia from the EvaluationData_v1.0.0.zip population file appears to be null.

I'm not sure if this repo is the right place to log this issue, so please feel free to close or redirect.

Replication steps:

• Downloaded the zip folder from https://zenodo.org/records/4641948
• Plot Pop.shp values
• Many high-resolution cells are null

Light blue cells in the images below are plotting null values.

I will check that version out, thanks! I'm having some trouble downloading anything from Zenodo over the last couple of days, but as soon as I can get that downloaded, I'll check those population files out.

I'm generating a new grid using the WorldPop 2025 data so I don't need the file for my use case, but just wanted to surface the issue in case it hadn't been reported yet.

Thanks for letting us know! I've only used the data that I linked to, so I wasn't aware of the problems with the other one.
