ForestMate 1.3.0 Android APK release.

Versioning decision:

  • 1.3.0 because android-v1.2.0 was already published before native phone feature parity was complete.
  • versionCode 8 because Android package updates require a monotonically increasing integer after 1.2.0 / 7.
  • Server API remains separately versioned; this release is scoped to Android phone/Wear packaging and native phone feature recovery.

Highlights:

  • Restores the native phone map using OSMDroid/OpenStreetMap tiles instead of a Google Maps SDK dependency.
  • Adds course route polylines, trail markers, summit/hazard/rescue markers, and GPS track rendering.
  • Restores hiking start/progress/end, live GPS track upload, selected-course SOS, and AI companion context.
  • Restores My/history/badges, email account register/login, device registration, and watch pairing flows in the native app.
  • Documents the web-to-native feature parity gap and the remaining non-blocking differences.
  • Updates F-Droid metadata, Fastlane changelogs, and Android/Wear release metadata for 1.3.0 / 8.
