it would be nice to have nice boxes for ABNF too, just like WebIDL ones.

So, <pre class="abnf"> would give a nice box too 🎁

FWIW, I have an ABNF to/from EBNF transpiler, validator and parser generator in Ruby I’ve thought could be ported to JavaScript sometime. https://github.com/dryruby/ebnf

Oh nice, @gkellogg! we should also add EBNF as a supported highlight language. We currently only support ABNF, but EBNF wouldn't add much to the size of the highlighter code.
