What I want to do...
Hide data in certain fields for certain records in a query.
This is possible through a conditional table format, but that means all the data for that table must be contained to the one (formatted) column.
How I want to do it...
Add an
unless/except ifoperator or anadd conditionoption for fields in queries.If the
unlessoperator is selected, another field mapper will appear below the field and indented.There, you map a second field to base the condition on, and set the operator to define the condition (e.g.,
EmptyorTrue)The field mapper is on the next line because it should reset to allow for mapping from the chosen base table (for cases like basing a Locality field condition on a field in the Taxon table)
Why I want to do it...
This is important for exporting data from Specify to aggregators or a web portal
