Query combo box results don't disappear after first click

Describe the bug
When searching something in a query combo box after you select any of the results the drop down doesn't immediately disappear and you have to press the result again for it to go away.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to the collection object form
2. Select any query combo box (i.e. accession)
3. Type in an existing record
4. Select a result
5. See the results don't disappear
6. Click on the result again
7. See results disappear

Expected behavior
Results should disappear after you press it once
