FAQ

We list here some problems that you're likely to face.

• I'm able to access some sites (like Google, Youtube, etc) but not others (Netflix, Yahoo, etc) from the user laptop.

Check your Zodiac FX version. Paul Zanna mentions here that

There was an MTU issue that was fixed in 0.58 that sometimes caused problems with encrypted streams.

So upgrade your Zodiac FX firmware to the latest version. For this project, we used version 0.58. More details on how to upgrade to this version can be found in the user guide and in the forum.

• The Zodiac is not showing all my flows.

The latest firmware version (0.61) only allowed us to add 69 flows and no more than that - this is probably due to a bug in the firmware, as the latest version is supposed to be able to support up to 512 flows. We used version 0.58 as we were able to add up to 128 flows.

• The flow duration retrieved from Zodiac FX is longer than it should have been.

This is a known issue for firmware version 0.61. No updates have been released yet to rectify this.
