  1. Make sure all tests pass in CI
  2. Update version numbers - readme, examples, changelog, package.json, splunklogger.js, and all tests checking for it
  3. Update the changelog with all changes since the last release version - be sure to emphasize customer-facing changes including breaking changes or changes to default behavior.
  4. Follow remaining tests of the JavaScript SDK
